Men Only were formed in Leeds in 2009 by 3 friends: Pete Sykes (guitar/bass/vocals), Clare Stemp (drums/percussion) and Al Brown (bass/guitar/vocals). They played 5 gigs and recorded 6 songs before the death of Pete (aged 30) in September 2011. Dave Robertshaw (guitar/backing vocals) joined before Utah was recorded in the studio of Ben Siddall (The Lodger/The Birthday Kiss) in the summer of 2011.
